technibilt's entire line of wire shopping carts features the newly developed tech-seal total protection system finish. with this state-of-the-art finishing process, a zinc phosphate coating is applied to the entire surface of the product. the zinc coating is followed by a chromic sealer, a coating of cathodic primer and finally a layer of polyester and teflon. this triple-layer protection system on top of the zinc coating ensures that the wire will withstand rust and corrosion for many years. the tech-seal finishing process is available in a wide array of colors, all of which are guaranteed not to fade as colored plastic carts tend to do. wire, unlike plastic, also never warps and, as wire carts have less surface area than plastic carts, they are less likely to retain rain-water when stored outside and drag it into a store.
